Coordinated team with many specialists

Diabetes has the complexity to cause harm throughout the body.  Keeping it under control requires a coordinated approach that includes medical expertise on different body systems, as well education and support.

That's why we've assembled a multidisciplinary team to address any and all aspects of diabetes.  Patients here benefit from the teamwork of many different specialists - all focused on diabetes.  Our extensive team includes endocrinologists, cardiologists (heart/vascular), nephrologists (kidneys), neurologists (nerves), podiatrists (feet), ophthalmologists (eyes), transplant surgeons and other physicians, as well as diabetes nurses, dietitians and social workers.  Behind the scenes, scientists are studying the molecular basis of diabetes.  Their discoveries translate into better ways to treat and prevent diabetes.
